OUR STORY
I founded Booked Elegant Events in 2020 with a simple, heartfelt vision: to create intimate, refined, and timeless celebrations that feel deeply personal.
Hi I’m LaTonya!
Through Booked Elegant Events, I combine artistry with understanding — creating spaces where beauty, intention, and storytelling come together effortlessly. My design approach blends softness, romance, and sophistication — curated with the heart of someone who understands how meaningful life’s moments truly are.
Through a one-on-one, concierge-style process, I guide you from vision to reality with a calm, supportive presence.
The Heart Behind the Work
Before entering the world of event design, I spent over 15 years in mental health and social services — roles that strengthened my compassion, discipline, and belief in the importance of honoring every person’s journey.
I’ve served as a Bereavement Counselor, Homicide Support Counselor, Community Mental Health Social Worker, and advocate for families navigating trauma. These experiences taught me how to listen deeply, care intentionally, and meet others with empathy and strength.
As a proud U.S. Army veteran, I carry the dedication, structure, and leadership I gained into every event I curate. My personal journey of resilience has shaped my passion for designing celebrations that feel safe, supportive, and truly meaningful.
My background in counseling and advocacy allows me to bring something rare to the event industry:
a designer who not only creates beauty but understands the emotions behind every milestone.
Whether you’re celebrating a wedding, shower, anniversary, corporate event, or intimate gathering, my goal is always the same:
to create an experience that feels calm, seamless, and deeply meaningful — shaped by your story, supported by my expertise, and executed with precision and grace.
“Working with Booked Elegant Events felt like stepping into a fairytale. From the very beginning, their team understood our heart, our vision, and the love story we wanted our wedding day to tell...”
